In the first of our silly season fun games, we played a game called Kick-Toss-Mulligan.
It is a team game where each team member gets one kick, one toss and one mulligan in
place of a stroke. The team low net on the hole is then used for the team score. Team
Bove scored an unbelievable 47 to steal the competition title. Paul’s team consisted of
Paul, Jesse Tamez and Chris Tamez. The other team scores were 50, 51 and 52 showing just
how well Team Bove did. We had only three closest to the pin winners as nobody seemed to
like the 7th hole and actually hit the green. The winners were Amedeo Cappione on holes
4 and 11, and guest Keith Sasaki on hole 15. Long putt went to Jose Salvacion with a
three-footer on a very tricky 18th green. This silly game seemed to be a big hit and
those who played really enjoyed something other than the stiff competition we normally
have. Don’t miss it next year.
