Back by popular demand, the Black Cup Tournament featured the Kick-Toss-Mulligan game.
Each team member gets one kick, one toss and one mulligan in place of a stroke
and the best two low net scores on each hole are then used for the team score. Team
Tamez consisting of Ruben Tamez, Rick McLain, Brooks McLain and John Abate won
the contest shooting a team score of 116. We didn't have any nose plants this year, but the tournament was still a lot of fun.
Jeff Miller won the Men's Long Drive and Loree McQueen won it for the Ladies. Fewest Putts and
Longest Putt went to Chris Tamez. Our Closest-To-The-Pin winners were
John Abate (holes 2 and 6), Ruben Tamez and Paul Arkebauer. The course was a lot of fun to play and the conditions were good
making this another great golf outing.
