You couldn't ask for better weather or course conditions at this year's May Day
Classic at Deer Ridge. Quite a difference from last year when we were shivering cold at Poppy Hills.
Even the competition was great as Jesse Tamez and John Abate
shot net 67s to lead the field. Jesse won in the tie-breaker with a lower back nine score.
John took First Runner-up while Pat Harlow took Second Runner-Up with a net 69. Our Closest-To-The-Pin
winners were Rick McLain on hole 3, Steven Harlow on hole 7, and John Abate on holes 13 and 15.
Brooks McLain sunk a 20 footer on hole 18 to win longest putt and John Abate won fewest putts with 30.
We had a Team Low Net game and Pat Harlow's family (Pat, Steven, Brandon and Tom Yacono) won it with a net 55!
Jesse's brother Rubin won the Second Chance contest. Sounds like a pretty nice family day at the course.
Congratulations to all the winners!
