Ted Hammam shot a hole in one on the second hole of the Lake course at Cinnabar Hills. Ted was playing as part of the Challenge Cup Finals Match between John Abate and Will Hoppner. Ted used his 7 wood to hit a low shot from 178 yards into a strong wind. The shot hit short of the green and bounced up onto it. It rolled over the mound on the green and slid down to the cup dropping in. Will was the first to see it when walking onto the green since it was not visible from the tees. Will's excitement over the Ace matched Ted's. This was Ted's third Ace.

Tony Cruz shot a hole in one on the eigth hole at Los Lagos on July 8th. The hole was playing 182 yards and he used his 4 iron. This was not a WCGA event, but his two playing partners, David Bret and Doug Golding, witnessed the Ace. Too bad it wasn't during the Red, White & Blue Cup. It would have been worth 25 points and a nice plaque.
