Despite the cold weather and foggy conditions, we started the new year off with a great
competition at Coyote Creek on the Tournament Course with Mike Beesley taking home the
Champion's Trophy. Some scores were pretty high with 10s, 11s and 12s being fairly common,
but Mike and Loree McQueen fired a net 72 with Mike winning the tie-breaker. Loree won A
Flight Low Net while Steven Harlow won A Flight Runner-Up. Jose Salvacion, last year's tournament champion,
won the B Flight Low Net while new member Joan Ross won the B Flight Runner-Up. Mike and Loree did quite well winning
their respective long drives and a closest to the pin each as well. Other closest to the pin winners were Jesse Tamez and
Reico Cruz. Fewest putts went to another new member Tosh Ehara and longest putt went to Steven Harlow with a putt of
over 30 feet. Nice job!
