Last year's Player of the Year, Mike Beesley, passes the plaque to the 2011 Player of the Year, Dan Sutter. The award was presented following the New Years Cup tournament at Coyote Creek. Members accumulated points throughtout the tournament year based on participation and where they finished in each tournament. The player with the highest point total is named Player of the Year and has their name etched on the WCGA plaque. The winning player keeps the plaque until a new winner is determined the following year. Dan collected 1060 points to lead the field, followed by John Abate with 1050, and Pat Harlow with 1030.
