Scott Hunter fired a solid round and won the 2008 Presidents Cup with a net 71. His steady shot making
proved to be the key to scoring on a windy, but otherwise beautiful day. Tournament low gross honors went to
Amedeo Cappione who shot an 83 to beat the field by several strokes. We added A and B Flight winners
and low net for A Flight went to Dave Rosner while low gross went to Justin Collins. Low net for B Flight
went to Elizabeth (Ed Walker's daughter) and low gross went to new member Jose Salvacion. Closest to the
pin winners were Arun Kamboj, Loree McQueen, Rainer Brodersen and Dan Tokutomi. Will Hoppner took long
drive and long put, while fewest putts for A Flight went to Amedeo and fewest for B Flight went to Bill Brown.
Our second chance winners were Reico Cruz, Gary Lawson, and Paul Bove.
